Where do you experience traffic congestion in Marion County?

Marion County is asking residents to report traffic congestion and transportation needs through a new survey and map that allow residents to pinpoint and label areas of concern in the county.

Local officials are asking the public for feedback on traffic congestion and transportation needs in Ocala and Marion County in an effort to prioritize changes to infrastructure and long-range transportation options.

The Ocala Marion Transportation Planning Organization is asking residents to share their thoughts and feedback on the county’s 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan.

Launched in late April, Marion County officials hope to gain resident input to help them shape the future of transportation in the county.

The survey asks respondents to evaluate the state of Marion County transportation over the past five years. Additionally, the survey asks residents to describe traffic congestion during daily commutes, as well as specify the county’s primary transportation challenges.

In addition to the survey, the county is also offering residents a “public comment map” that allows users to enter an address and specify a particular concern (i.e., safety, congestion, public transit need, etc.).

To give your feedback on traffic and transportation needs in Marion County, take the Navigating the Future 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan survey.
