Leevonia G. White was born on October 3, 1950, to Christola Bynes and Amos Gordon in Alachua, Florida.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Marion County, graduating from North Marion High School in Sparr.
Leevonia accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Willow Plant Missionary Baptist Church.
Leevonia was a bus driver for 25 years with Palm Beach County School Board in West Palm Beach. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On April 25th God looked down upon this earth and saw Leevonia’s face. He put his loving arms around her and lifted her to rest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christola Bynes and Amos Gordon.
Leevonia, leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Beth Richardson and her husband, Robert; son, Daytron Rogers and his wife, Sharongila; grand-children, Malani, Brandy, Robert, Jr., Brittney and Cierara; great grandchildren, Jag, Kayden, Lillana, Robert III, R’nyiah, Jermonnie, O’mariyan, Marikeys, Londyn, Dy’Dhawn, Lyiah, K’Lyiah; siblings, Amos (Sarah) Gordon, Frenchie (Eric) Rice. Patricia (Ernest) Dove, Larry (Toni) Gordon, Bruce (Angel) Gordon, Tarri (Allen) Waters, Michael (Beverly) Gordon, Lenie Gordon, Regina (Eric) Davis, Angel (Corey, Sr.) Mitchell and Donnie (Ivori) Matthews; very special cousin, Daisy Thomas; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Visitation was held on Friday, May 3, at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street, Ocala, Fl 34475.
