Millwood Estates, a new community under construction in northeast Ocala, is one of several residential development projects in the city being managed by the second-largest home construction company in the country.
Lennar is currently developing the new community, which is situated between NE 35th Street and NE 42nd Place. The new development is situated just west of Coehadjoe Park and just east of Pearl Britain Plaza in northeast Ocala.
Millwood Estates is split into “The Enclave,” where homes range in price from $239,900 to $381,490, and “The Meadows,” where homes range in price from $257,900 to $372,490.
Although some of the community has been built out, there are still dozens of homesites at the property that are undeveloped.
According to Lennar, the community features over two dozen different floor plans across its one and two-story homes. Each home features open floor plans, covered lanais, multi-car garages, and either three, four, or five bedrooms.
In addition to Millwood Estates, Lennar is still in the process of developing homes across several sites in Ocala.
That includes Heath Preserve in northwest Ocala, Marion Ranch and Pioneer Ranch in southwest Ocala, and Oak Hammock Preserve in southeast Ocala.
It also includes Freedom Crossings Preserve in southwest Ocala. Although the homes in that community are largely accounted for, there are still a few future homesites that are for sale.
Based out of Miami, Lennar is a Fortune 500 company that has built over one million new homes since 1954.
