To the Editor:
As per your previous reader’s complaint about Winn-Dixie leaving Ocala area, she seems to be stereotyping one store, which sounds as if it was under very poor management, plus the issue of claim that all Winn-Dixie stores are located in poor neighborhoods. The Winn-Dixie in our area is far from being a poor neighborhood or being run down, as per her claims.
The people who work at our Winn-Dixie are good people, working under good management. It’s unfortunate one store creates a dark image for other stores in the minds of customers, but that’s the harsh reality of society, bad experience in one place, accusing all places of being the same.
Winn Dixie isn’t completely moving out.
Aldi’s has taken over, meaning if management doesn’t change in the store she complained about, odds are, that store will fail her standards as well.
All in all, venting does some people good. Hopefully she will enjoy shopping at Aldi’s.
