Mother Sally Ann Franklin was born July 31, 1944, in Ocala FL to the late Kato Fields and Elizabeth Roberts fields.

She received her formal education from Fessenden High School and Central Florida Community College. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County.

Sallie was saved at an early age under the Church of God in Christ ministries and served faithfully as mother of Old Ship of Zion Ministries.

She was an avid homemaker and crafter. She was a great cook and specialized in sweet potato pies. She meant no stranger and loved people; her smile was infectious. She worked as a correctional officer and later opened a foster care home for the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Earl, Theodore, Vernon, and Ernest English, sisters, Ernestine Stevenson, Jaunita Washington, and Senia Pullings.

Sally Ann Franklin is survived by her loving and devoted husband Jesse of 22 years. Her three loving children, Elizabeth (Candy) Woods of Reddick, FL,Theresa (Mark) Mills of Rochester, NY, and Persel Woods of Land O’Lakes. Stepchildren, May West, Author Robinson, James Franklin, Van (Shameka) Franklin, Sabrina (Shaderick) Bynes, Katina Franklin, Timothy Franklin, Jessica Franklin, Travis (Shawander) Franklin, Grandchildren, Maegan and Marsha Monroe, Rocelle(William) White, Danielle Johnson, Mitchell Pullings, Tondreka (AJ)Robles, Crystal Winter, Markeeta and Moriah Mills, Ryan, Ashley and Annicia Woods.
