Offensive language was reportedly graffitied on the wall of a Publix in Ocala.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded Thursday morning to the Publix at 7578 SE Maricamp Road.
Upon arrival, the deputy stopped at the loading dock and observed graffiti on the wall, which appeared to be written with blue spray paint.
Deputies then made contact with the store’s manager who reported the graffiti and advised that according to a surveillance video taken at 12:44 p.m., an unknown male drove behind the store and parked in what appeared to be a Ford Ranger. The unknown male is seen exiting the truck, approaching the wall and begins spray painting the wall. At one point, another vehicle drives behind the store and the unknown male starts to run away from the wall. Once the car passed, the unknown male returned to the wall, finished spray painting and returned to the truck.
