James ‘Bruce’ Mace, 75, of Ocala, FL moved on to be with Jesus on May 7, 2018 after a brief illness. Bruce was born in Jamestown, NY and moved to the Ocala area 26 years ago. He is a US Air Force Veteran, enjoyed buying and selling things, and loved classic cars, having owned Mace Motors here in Ocala with his son.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana Mace of Ocala, FL; son, Steven (Jennifer) Mace of Ocala, FL; daughter, Debra (William) Hart of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Michael, Amanda, Julia; and a host of friends.
The family welcomes friends at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service during this time at the funeral home. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Humane Society in Ocala in memory of Bruce.
