A Marion County sheriff’s deputy was called to an Ocala Wal-Mart on Sunday after a thief stole a cart-load of merchandise.
When the deputy arrived at the store, located at 34 Bahia Ave., a loss prevention officer said the theft occurred on Friday, April 19 at about 8:40 p.m. He said the bandit walked out of the store’s general merchandise doors with a cart full of tools, electronics and household items valued at $1,224.71.
The stolen items included:
- Impact drills ($118);
- Vacuum ($329);
- Nintendo Switch deluxe case ($37.84);
- 6-foot A/V cable ($7.96);
- Wireless mouse ($18.97);
- Micro USB cable ($9.82);
- Four men’s watches ($135.60);
- Universal laptop charger ($49.97);
- Gaming console ($44.88);
- Printer ($109);
- Computer monitor ($84);
- Laptop backpack ($69.97);
- 20-ounce bottle of Coke ($1.88);
- Stylo+ craft tool ($47.97);
- Three-drawer tool set ($118);
- Socket set ($11.97); and
- Orbital sander ($29.88).
