The Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau (OMCVCB) will host an Open House in celebration of National Travel and Tourism week at 109 W. Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala. The event is open to the public and will be held on May 17 from
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with light refreshments provided.
The open house will serve as an opportunity for the community to meet the OMCVCB staff and discover the various ways to connect on tourism opportunities and the tools available to industry partners to advance within Ocala/Marion County.
Guest speakers include, Commissioner Jeff Gold of the Marion County Board of County Commissioners, VISIT FLORIDA Regional Partnership Manager Brenna Dacks, Florida Horse Park Director Jason Reynolds, and Director of Sales and Marketing for the World Equestrian Center (WEC) Karl Kaufmann.
Staff will be available to provide information and schedule training sessions for partners wanting to know how to be more involved in tourist development.
