Taylor’s restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch, has taken over at a location formerly occupied by Egg & I.

Although the owners, Taylor and Keri Toth, have many years of experience in the restaurant business, the Ocala location is their flagship restaurant, with other locations planned in Panama City and Pensacola.
Similar to the building’s previous occupant, Taylor’s menu features a variety of classic breakfast combinations and options, including omelettes, eggs Benedict, skillets and hashes.
The business joins a growing list of restaurants in the area that are for sale or have closed, including a trio in the month of August.
In early August, Open Haus closed the doors amid health code violations after being in business less than a year. Locos Grill and Pub recently announced plans to renovate and reopen that location.
In the middle, the owner of Charlie Horse Restaurant & Lounge announced that he was selling the business and attributed the sale to news breaking that one of his employees tested positive for Hepatitis A.
In the end of August, La Famiglia Pizzeria closed its doors amid health issues from the owner.
Taylor’s is open every day from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To see their complete menu or for more information, visit the Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch website.
