An Ocala woman who called law enforcement on her ex-husband for banging on her door ended up also being arrested after she reportedly gave deputies a false name.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded Tuesday to a residence on SW 85th Street, where Angelia Bean Hannah, 45, said her ex-husband, 30-year-old Timothy Ray Fox, came to the house and had been banging on the door before leaving. She said Fox lives at another address two blocks away on SW 85 th Street, according to the sheriff’s office report.
Another deputy responded to Fox’s house and found he had active warrants out of Sumter County for failure to appear in court on charges of petit theft and trespassing. While he was being taken into custody, Fox said, “I’m not going alone. Check my wife. She has a warrant, too,” the report said.
Back at Hannah’s house, she told the deputy her name was Angela N. Harris and gave a birthdate of Jan. 12, 1975. When a records check did not come back with any records for that name, the deputy asked her to spell her middle name. She first spelled it as N-O-E-L and then N-O-E-L-L, according to the report.
At this point, Fox asked, “What name is she giving you?” He then said her real name is Angela Ruth Bean Hannah. While checking combinations of that name, deputies found an active warrant from Alabama in the name of Angela Hannah Bean with the birth date of Jan. 12, 1975. When asked to verify her social security number, the number Hannah provided matched the social security number on the warrant, the report said.
Hannah was charged with giving a false name to law enforcement and taken to the Marion County Jail. She was fingerprinted and this showed her name to be Angelia Bean Hannah. She was released Friday on $1,000 bond. Fox was still being held Saturday evening on $4,000 bond.
