An Ocala woman was arrested recently after her lady friend claimed she pushed her during a verbal altercation.

The victim claimed she and 24-year-old Vivileejanet Pabon were arguing over things getting dirty and breaking items in their residence. The victim claimed she was in the kitchen and Pabon said to her, “Mind your (expletive deleted) business,” a Marion County sheriff’s office report states.

The victim also claimed that Pabon was yelling at her and called her a “bitch.” She said Pabon was talking to her like she was “somebody from the street” and she told her to stop speaking to her that way, the report says.

The victim said she walked toward Pabon and she called her another derogatory name and pushed her in the chest area. She said she fell down and got back up and Pabon grabbed her and they fell to the ground fighting. The victim’s son, whose age was redacted from the report, observed the altercation and helped separate the two, the report says, adding that the victim had redness in her face and on her left collarbone area.

Pabon told sheriff’s deputies that was she was in the living room folding laundry when they started arguing. She admitted to calling the victim a “bitch” but claimed the victim smacked her on the back of her head. She said she pushed the victim and she attacked her and wouldn’t let go. She also told deputies that she wasn’t hitting the victim during the physical altercation and was only holding her arms, the report says, noting that deputies observed dry blood on Pabon’s right ear.

The victim’s son said Pabon and the victim were arguing about a “messed up chair.” He said he saw Pabon shove the victim in her chest and identified her as the first person to make physical contact. He said the two were “going at it on the floor” when he broke up the altercation and claimed that Pabon “definitely” hit the victim first, according to the report.

Pabon was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she was charged with domestic battery. She was released on $500 bond and is due to appear in court June 9 at 1 p.m., jail records show.
