A popular burger and frozen custard restaurant with roots in the midwest is coming to Ocala.
Culver’s, known for its ButterBurgers® and frozen custards, will build a new Ocala location along S.R. 200. The chain recently broke ground on the restaurant, which will be located at 4836 S.W. College Road, next-door to Bojangles.
The restaurant chain currently has over 800 independently owned locations across over two dozen states, including a location in Sumter County.
That Culver’s location, which opened its doors in The Villages in April of 2018, has seen success on account of its immediate brand recognition amidst the largely midwestern and northeastern retirees of the community.
In addition to their trademark burgers and custards, the restaurant is also known for some of its more non-traditional fast food options, including seafood, cheese curds, and pretzel bites.
