Mrs. Mary Lee Blunt was born on May 30, 1930 to Nathaniel McCullough and Ethel Wilson in Reddick Florida. She accepted Christ as savior at an early age and was a member of Church of God in Reddick, Florida.

She was educated in the Public Schools of Marion County, Florida. She had a degree in nursing. In 1948 she married to Edgar Blunt and was blessed with six children. Her occupation was a nursing specialist.

On Monday, June 21, 2021 Mrs. Blunt answered the Master’s call went home to be with the Father.

In addition to her parents Nathaniel McCullough and Ethel Wilson and stepmother, Caroline McCullough Mrs. Blunt was predeceased by her husband, Edgar;  two siblings, Nathaniel McCullough, Jr. and Otheen Reddick; four children, George Blunt, Edgar, Jr., Lynn Warren Blunt and Aileen V. Griffin and a granddaughter, Felicia McCray and a son in law, Sampson L. Sharpe.

Mrs. Mary Lee Blunt is survived by three children, Terry L. Blunt (LaFondra), Altrina B. Sharpe and Shennell S. Blunt-Johnson (Quintin); Grandchildren – Beverly Blunt, Aldrick Blunt ( Princess), Algernard Blunt (Coco), Terry Blunt Jr. (Vivian), Mitchell Blunt (Trina), Andre Blunt (Sarona), Terria Blunt, Brandon Blunt (Mary), Ariel Blunt, Anthony McCray, Leticia Reese, George, L.J. Edgar Tucker (Adele), Matthew Rowells (Sabrina), Jessica Lopez (Jonathan), Zanette Williams (Jeremy), Francesca Watson (Randy), Quintin Johnson Jr., Raven Johnson, Xandra Johnson; one brother Joseph McCullough; one brother in law, Johnny Reddick, daughter in law, Lily Blunt; son in law, Zanette L. Griffin.  She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friend

Public viewing for Mrs. Mary Lee Blunt will be Friday, July 2, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street. Ocala, FL. 34475

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Reddick Church of God, 15670 NW Gainesville Rd. Reddick, FL 32686

Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
