Ocala Fire Rescue units called to the scene of an accident on Tuesday afternoon were surprised to see a vehicle partially lodged into a home in southeast Ocala.
Around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, Ocala Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the intersection of SE 14th Street and SE 22nd Avenue after receiving a report of a vehicle collision.
When crews arrived, they found a vehicle had been partially driven through the wall of a residence in the area.
No injuries were reported.
On Wednesday, a similar incident was reported to Ocala Fire Rescue when a pickup truck crashed into an auto parts shop in east Ocala. That truck drove 25 feet into the Advance Discount Auto Parts at 2204 East Silver Springs Boulevard before coming to a stop. No injuries were reported during that incident either.
The driver during Tuesday’s incident was transported to the hospital.
As of Wednesday evening, the cause of the incident has not yet been determined.
Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the scene.
