The Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training center celebrated a construction milestone this past week.
The facility reached its “topping out” point on Friday, June 16.
“Topping out” signifies that the facility has reached its maximum height, according to the organization.
The project is currently under construction by Parrish McCall Constructors, who, along with members from the Circle Square Foundation, signed a steel beam to commemorate the event.
The topping out steel beam is placed at the main entrance of the FAST facility.
The organization says that craftsmen and women have put in over 45,000 hours of labor into the construction of the aquatic facility, which is approximately halfway through construction.
The FAST facility is expected to open in March 2022.
