A new 7-Eleven coming to Grand Oaks Town Center received approval for its permit to sell beer and wine off premises.

The Ocala City Council unanimously approved the permit during its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 3.

The new convenience store will be located at 2655 SW 42nd Street, across from Trinity High School. It will join a collection of other businesses that comprise Grand Oaks Town Center and that already have permits for the sale of alcohol, including Publix and Ninja Sushi.

Multiple 7-Elevens are in various stages of planning and construction across Ocala, including one at the intersection of SW Highway 200 and SW 66th Street. Crews have made brisk progress at that location.
