The Running Elements is opening a new location in downtown Ocala that will feature a bevy of products for runners, marathoners, and other walking enthusiasts.
The business plans to host a soft opening at its new Ocala location at 29 NE 1st Street, Suite E. The running store is next door to another popular downtown athletics shop, Brick City Bicycles.
The store sells shoes, athletic clothing, gear, and technology for runners. It plans to host training, meet-ups, and workshops for runners and walkers of all levels.
A collection of premiere running brands will be featured at the store, including Hoka, Brooks, and Altra running shoes and products.
The Ocala location is the second for the company, whose original location is in Daytona Beach.
Downtown Ocala has seen an explosion in commercial and residential real estate growth. Multiple sites are in the construction or renovation stages for new businesses throughout downtown Ocala, including Mellow Mushroom, Symmetry Cafe, Mutiny pirate bar, and Cantina Tex-Mex restaurant.
