San’s Pizzeria is bringing 35 years of pizza recipes and tradition to a new location in northwest Ocala.
The business celebrated the grand opening last week of its new restaurant at 4953 NW Blitchton Road in the Quail Meadow Commons Shopping Center.
The restaurant officially opened the doors on its new Ocala location on Tuesday, August 31.
“Thank you Ocala for the overwhelming welcome and support,” reads a post from the company‘s Facebook page last week.
The menu at San’s Pizzeria features a wide variety of premium and specialty pizzas, including hot buffalo chicken, pesto, cheeseless, and Polynesian, which is topped with ham, black olives, pineapples, and mushrooms.
In addition to pizzas, the restaurant offers a large collection of classic Italian foods, including calzones, strombolis, ravioli, ziti, fettuccine Alfredo, and Penne alla Vodka, to name a few.
Originally based out of Palm Harbor, Florida, San’s Pizzeria closed up shop on its East Lake location just over a year ago on August 18, 2020.
At the time, owners San and Jacki Felder told customers they were going into retirement.
In May, the restaurant announced it would return to a new location in Ocala.
“San became restless in his retirement and will be opening a new location in Ocala, Florida,” reads a post from the restaurant’s Facebook page.
