Mutiny Ocala pirate-themed bar nearing completion

Mutiny will open the doors on its new pirate-themed bar next week in downtown Ocala. 

The business will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, September 15, beginning at 6 p.m., according to a social media post.

The new bar is located at 46 S Magnolia Avenue, next door to its sister bar, the Tipsy Skipper. 

The grand opening celebration will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature live music from LoveKillsJoy & The Bitters.

“Come join our crew of scallywags as we hoist the black flag for the first time,” reads a post from the company’s social media profile. 

The new business will feature a full liquor bar, an extensive beer list, food, and music. 

Mutiny joins a long list of new businesses that have opened recently  currently constructing new locations in downtown Ocala.

Mellow Mushroom continues to make brisk pace on its new location in downtown, replacing the former Brothers Keepers thrift store.

Symmetry Cafe is renovating the previous Sovereigns and Scoundrels Glass Emporium that closed up shop earlier this year. 

Cantina Tex Mex and Tequila restaurant has made a collection of exterior and interior renovations in an effort to bring new life into an old bank building. The restaurant plans to open its doors next month.
