Students and staff celebrated the opening of the Belleview High School VyStar Credit Union branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony
The branch is located at Belleview High School (10400 SE 36th Avenue), and will be managed by a team of students who will oversee the day-to-day operations under the supervision of their school’s career academy instructors.
According to VyStar, the participating students will gain first-hand experience with financial services such as loans, credit cards, budgets, and investment accounts.
The students will learn how to responsibly use credit, as well as how to save and invest money. They will also serve as mentors to their peers.
