The City of Ocala will be hosting two informational sessions next week regarding a proposed second parking garage in downtown Ocala.

Both sessions will be held on Wednesday, February 16 at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (15 SE Osceola Avenue). The first session begins at 12 p.m. and the second session starts at 5:30 p.m.

The meetings are free and open to the public.

During these sessions, city staff will review the site selection methodology which includes factors such as location, size, value, projected parking capacity, infrastructure impacts, and proximity to future development sites.

According to the city, both sessions will present the same information, and a virtual option is also available for anyone who is unable to attend in person.
