Minister Valerie Vance accepted the Master’s call on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at home after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 29, 1965 to Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Gloria Bradley of Micanopy, Florida. She was married to Kenneth Bernard Vance Sr. for 36 years. Minister Valerie was educated in the Alachua County Public School System, earning her diploma from Eastside High School in 1983. She worked various jobs through the years, with her last as a Dialysis Tech for DaVita Kidney Center in Sun City, Fl. Minister Valerie was a faithful member of New Beginning Christian Worship Center of Micanopy under the leadership of Bishop Christopher Stokes. She served as a co-laborer of the Gospel, singing in the Praise Team, volunteering with the feeding/outreach ministries and supporting the ministry in whatever capacity, until her health declined.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband, Kenneth B. Vance Sr., her children, Renee, Kenneth Jr. and Bernard; her grands, Jahmel, Kaylynn, Kaydence; her parents, Charlie & Gloria Bradley; her siblings, Olivia Little, Victoria Bradley and Sharonda Woodard; her uncles, John and Emmanuel Bradley, and Dana Williams; her aunt, Julia Bradley; her mother in law, Fannie D. Vance; her sister in laws, Mozell Howard, Elizabeth Berry, and Rosa Glover; her brother in laws, John, Jerome, Lester and Leron Vance; her special Goddaughter, Breona Burrell; her Godmother, Alfreda Weed and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
