A 69-year-old man from Gainesville was killed in a single-vehicle crash on SW State Road 121 in Alachua County on Sunday morning.
At around 4 a.m., an SUV driven by the Gainesville man was traveling southbound on SW State Road 121 in the area of SW 78th Lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report.
The SUV drifted off the roadway to the right and overturned. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The FHP report indicated that the cause of the crash was under investigation.
The driver’s name was not released, per FHP policy.
