To the Editor:

I recently explored my family heritage as a favor for my father. I used Ancestry.com, Ancestry DNA, and Family Search websites. I did not expect the incredible family tree that I found. Before these sites, and before computers, if someone in your family moved away, people often didn’t know whatever became of their loved ones.

My family tree is so incredible that it inspired me to announce my intention to run in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. I am a descendant of political philosopher John Locke. His works were used as the basis for the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. He also authored Natural Rights. I was amazed to read his works and discover that I inherited his beliefs.

Remarkably, I am related to 26 former Presidents of the United States, two of which are George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. To me, my family tree is a gift from God. I plan to run as an independent. I vow to restore honesty, trust, transparency, and accountability to Washington, D.C.

In 2026, America will celebrate its 250th birthday. Potentially, I could hold the same office as my cousin George Washington did as I preside over this great nation and ensure that the rights afforded to everyone in our Constitution are being followed, and ensure that equality finally becomes reality for all American citizens. There is no place for hate and intolerance in America. I will ensure that the legacy of my 6th cousin, Abraham Lincoln, lives on.
