A 68-year-old man from Lake Placid has claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off game after purchasing the winning ticket in Reddick.

According to the Florida Lottery, Peter Dulas visited the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office today and chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.

Dulas purchased his winning ticket from the Petro Ocala Stopping Center located at 7401 W Highway 318 in Reddick. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

The $30 scratch-off game, Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme, features four top prizes of $15 million and 24 prizes of $1 million. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.59.
