Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods is asking for the public’s help in locating a 41-year-old man who is wanted for three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
In his regular “Wanted by Woods Wednesday” segment on Facebook, Sheriff Woods asked for assistance in finding Ocala resident Andre Jerod Roundtree.
In August, Roundtree was arrested after he was accused of showing pornographic images to a child. According to Sheriff Woods, another victim has come forward, and an MCSO investigation has allegedly revealed that Roundtree molested this victim.
“Children are supposed to be protected by adults, yet he victimizes them,” said Sheriff Woods.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office believes that there may be additional victims. If you feel that Roundtree victimized you, or if you think that somebody you know may have been victimized by him, Sheriff Woods asks that you call Detective Kip Peterson at 352-368-3539.
Sheriff Woods stated, “We need to find Andre and get him off of these streets before he harms another innocent child.”
