Shortly after the accident, a GoFundMe page was established for the benefit of Gillan and his wife, Cheryl, and nearly 150 donations were received totaling $15,000. These funds will be used to help cover the cost of monthly bills and expenses as Gillan continues the healing and recovery process.

I would like to thank the men and women of Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department for their unwavering support of Tony and Cheryl through their journey.”
