Three elementary school students in Ocala recently became the proud owners of their own bicycle thanks to the generosity of a local school resource officer and an anonymous donor.
When Marion County Sheriff’s Office school resource deputy Paul Hahn learned that three Maplewood Elementary School students were hoping to get bicycles this Christmas, he decided to help make their wish come true, according to a social media post from MCSO.
Thanks to Hahn’s efforts, along with a generous donation from an anonymous donor, he was able to surprise the students with their new bicycles.
“Nothing warms our hearts more than being able to help our young citizens,” stated the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on its Facebook page. “We couldn’t be more grateful to our citizens for helping us do just that. Thank you to our anonymous donor for your help bringing smiles to their faces.”
