Marion County Animal Services is currently waiving all adoption fees due to an influx of animals at its shelter.
The animal shelter, which is located at 5701 SE 66th Street in Ocala, is filled to capacity with over 200 animals that are seeking a forever home. According to Animal Services, the greatest need is dog adoptions.

In a social media post, Marion County Animal Services stated, “We have over 200 (animals) who are seeking great homes, and even more are immediately ready to fill their empty cages. If you can help, please don’t wait. Come in today and make a difference.”
In addition, Marion County Animal Services is accepting donations, which are used to improve the lives of all animals within the facility. Donations can be made in person, online, or mailed to Marion County Animal Services at: 5701 SE 66th Street, Ocala, FL 34480.
