(Update from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office: Darlene Marybell Peck was located by python hunters in South Florida. She is in good health and has been reunited with her family.)

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing and endangered 75-year-old woman who was last seen leaving her residence in Umatilla on Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Darlene Marybell Peck left the 16000 block of SE 249th Terrace in Umatilla to go to Ocala. Shortly after midnight, her husband arrived at the residence and noticed that she had not returned, according to MCSO.

The sheriff’s office stated that Darlene is driving a gray 2013 Nissan Rogue bearing Florida tag 9556BT. Her vehicle was spotted at approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday in the Coral Gables area near Miami.

Darlene has dementia and there is a concern for her safety. If you have any information on her whereabouts, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call 911.
