Linda Cross, 82, of Ocklawaha, Florida entered into God’s kingdom on March 28th, 2023. She was born July 14, 1942, to Stephen and Janet Hanzes in Mercy, PA. Moved to Belleview, Florida in July 1978 and served beside her husband in ministry and home businesses while mothering her own 5 children and all who visited our home.
Linda, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Memaw) and great-grandmother (GGMa) is survived by her husband, Merle T. Cross; sons, Robert M. Cross (wife Lisa), Thadd V. Cross and Lucas W. Cross; daughters, Linda J. Lewis and Jody L. Cross; Brothers: Stephen (Dode) E. Hanzes, John J. Hanzes; Sisters: Mary V. Hanzes, Janet L. Hanzes, Grandsons: Brandon Cross, Austin Cross, Jordan Lewis (Fiance’ Tori Bass), Granddaughters: Sara Cross, Lydia Starke and Jennifer Patterson (husband: Devon), Great-Grandchildren: Jayden Moore, Gabriel Cross, Waylon Lewis and Step great-granddaughter: Peighton Bass along with many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and second mom to so many.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM to 12:00 viewing then 12:00 to 1:00 service at New Harvest Church of God Silver Springs 13184 East Hwy 40, Silver Springs Florida 34488
Burial to take place at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida 34474.
