For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16, KJV).

Robert K. Correll, “Bob” to most, “Bouncer” to few, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15th, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born to Kendall and Roene Correll, of Carbondale, P.A., on February 14th, 1947. He grew up in Carbondale and graduated from Benjamin Franklin H.S. in 1965.

Throughout his life, Bob lived in Pennsylvania (Carbondale and Scranton), New York (Big Flats, Elmira, and Horseheads), and Florida (Belleview, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami). He spent most of his career as a truck driver, delivering bread, milk, and beer; and enjoying the freedom of the open road. He learned to repair clocks alongside his wife, Tina, at their clock repair shop, Time Flys (Big Flats). Bob enjoyed cruises, Football (Go Packers!), and cooking his favorite foods – stuffed shells and spaghetti and meatballs. He loved to talk to people and animals and made many friends along the way.

Bob is predeceased by his wife, Christine Anne VanPatten-Correll, “Tina”, and son, Andrew Douglas Correll, “Andy-D”. He is survived by his four cats, Kamsahabnida, Reeses, Pumpkin, and Kitty, and dog, Lillee-Bug “Scrappy-Doo”; daughters, Allison J. Sambrook (CO), and Shayna E. Correll (FL); grandchildren, Elisa-Roene and Harrison Sambrook; and lifelong friends, Juanita E., Jim and Terri L., Bob H., Carol “Kelly” M., Effie K., and many others.
