A southern buffet has moved into new digs in Salt Springs, replacing the previous restaurant that operated in the space for a decade.
Pop’s Southern Buffet celebrated the opening of its new location at 25011 NE Hwy 314 in Salt Springs in May.
Owned and operated by Tony Macarages, the restaurant is a part of the recently opened Tree’Ke Resort and replaces Bass Champions Restaurant & Lodge, which closed its doors in July 2022.
Pop’s Southern Buffet cooks up authentic southern cuisine in a relaxed setting and offers different specials and dishes across the week. All meals include access to the restaurant’s salad bar.
On Tuesdays, the restaurant hosts Italian night. It also hosts wing night on Wednesday, meatloaf and liver with onion night on Thursday, and a seafood buffet night on Friday and Saturday.
Each themed night features a variety of dishes. On Friday and Saturday, the seafood buffet includes all-you-can-eat crab legs and a salad bar, among other options.
On Tuesday, the Italian night features multiple mainstays like spaghetti, lasagna, chicken Alfredo, and country vegetables. On Wednesday, the restaurant serves up wings with multiple flavors.
Prices for the buffet vary by the night and the offering, with the seafood buffet starting at $25.
The restaurant is currently open Tuesday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is closed on Sunday and Monday.
