A thrift shop in Belleview officially opened for business earlier this Summer, joining several other local thrift stores that have celebrated grand openings recently.
Favor It Thrift Shoppe celebrated its grand opening at 5931 SE Hames Road in Belleview in June.
Owned and operated by Michell Peak, the business was a multi-month work in progress until its opening at the beginning of June.
The business features a large inventory that features gently used and new clothing, shoes, toys, home decorations, furniture, and jewelry, among many other items.
“We love our customers as much as we love giving back to the communities they come from. We’re a Christian store that welcomes all. You’re not only a part of the Favor It family, You’re our Favor It part of the family,” reads a statement from the company’s website.
The shop regularly hosts deals and discounted events, including its “fill-a-bag” clearance promotion, where visitors may fill a bag and purchase all the items therein for one set price.
With its opening, Favor It Thrift Shoppe joins several other similar businesses that have opened in the tri-county area over the summer.
That includes the Goodwill Outlet store located at 2920 W Silver Springs Boulevard, which celebrated its grand reopening in August.
That same month, Restoring Hope Clothing Boutique celebrated its grand opening at 104 E Wonders in Wildwood.
In late July, All You Need Is Thrift opened its new shop at 424 S Pine Avenue in Ocala.
Favor It Thrift Shoppe is open Tuesday through Thursday (10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Friday (10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and Saturday (10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
