A 74-year-old man from Morriston was killed on Thursday morning in a three-vehicle crash that occurred at an intersection in Levy County.

Shortly after 9:20 a.m., the 74-year-old Morriston man was traveling westbound in a sedan on County Road 323, and he stopped at the stop sign located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 41, according to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report.

FHP stated that at the same time, a tractor with a flatbed trailer hauling a tree was heading southbound on U.S. Highway 41, approaching the same intersection. Moments after the initial collision, the tractor-trailer swerved to the left and struck the left front section of the third vehicle.
