August 15, 1971 – January 29, 2024

Tara Leigh Johnson, nicknamed ‘My Queen,’ age 52, was born in Lamar, Missouri. She lived in Summerfield, FL, when God called her home on January 29, 2024, to be in all of his glory. Tara was born on August 15,1971, to the parents of Marie and Dale Burnett.

After living in New York for a few years and finally coming to Ocala, FL, Tara worked at Dayco for a few years before she went to TENAJ SALON INSTITUTE where she became a Stylist and a successful leader in the industry for over 13 years. Tara was also the co-owner of The Multiverse Fitness. After leaving Salon Jaylee in the Villages Tara went on to work for herself. She open two home base business TJ Mobile Salon and INTRINSIC, a natural soap and lotion line of beauty products. Tara loved staying in shape, spending time with family and most important serving God.

She is survived by her husband Marvin Johnson, Jr., who lives in Summerfield, FL. Tara leaves behind three sons, Joseph Louis Dumpson, Jr., Lewquan Burnett, and Delious Kah-lil Johnson, two daughters, Amanda Burnett and Alexis Hogan, her brothers, Shawn Burnett and James Burnett, and sister, Tania Burnett, cousins, Jeffery Dale Hare, Candice Hare, Amanda Henderson and Lisa Gallardo, sisters-in-law, Jennifer Johnson, Angel Johnson and Chinni Easley, mother-in- law, Mary Johnson, she is also survived by a host grandchildren who she loved.

Tara is preceded in death by her daughter, Myia Majors.

Her well done my good and faithful service will be held at Roberts Downtown Chapel. on February 10, 2024, in Ocala, FL, at 5:00 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Pastor Terrell and Tiffany Richardson of True Life Family and Worship Ministry will be officiating the service. Roberts Funerals and Cremations will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Donations can be given to Roberts Funeral Home for the family to Kaitlynn Schrader.
