Diana Marie Bailey
January 3, 1962 – February 29, 2024

Diana Marie Bailey was born on January 3, 1962, to the union of Wilbur and Daisy Bailey. After a faithful and courageous battle with cancer, she transitioned on February 29, 2024 surrounded by her beloved son, Nathaniel and family member. Diana was a compassionate and faithful mother to her son. She also was a great baker, cook and financial wiz.

Diana was raised in Coram, on Long Island where she attended Longwood Middle School, then graduated from Longwood High School. After graduation, she attended Suffolk Community College while working 11 years at Long Island Savings Bank completing her tenure there as a Head Teller/Supervisor. She moved on to various positions at SUNY Stony Brook hospital, Little Flower Children Services. She then moved to Ocala, Florida where she worked as an Accountant Technician at Nationwide Insurance for 12 years until they moved to Columbus, Ohio. She worked at Enterprise Rent a Car as a Recovery Specialist for 15 years until she succumbed to her illness.

Diana loved music and knew the words to every song. In high school she was in a singing group and was the director of the Community Baptist Youth Choir. She loved to drive and take trips to the water. She felt water was her peaceful place.

Diana lived a full life filled with love, forgiveness and thankfulness. Her kind and loving spirit was a blessing to her family, friends and all those who knew her. She will be deeply missed. In our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the loving presence of the Lord. May her sweet memory be a source of inspiration to live life to the fullest.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Bailey, Sr., and Sister Patricia Bailey. Left to mourn her is her mother, Daisy Bailey, Sisters and Brother, Roslyn Bailey-Oddman (Neville), Leila Goldschlager, Myrel Bailey-Walton (Leland), Wilbur Bailey, Jr., Leslie Bailey-Clarke (Oswald), Josephine Bailey. Her BFF, Melinda Duncan, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, God children and other family and friends.

May she rest in Peace.
