A new apartment-style hotel that features 76 rooms with full-size kitchens, appliances, and dedicated living rooms, has opened its doors in west Ocala.
The stayAPT Suites officially opened for business last week at 3509 W Silver Springs Boulevard. The new hotel is located near the Interstate 75 interchange on W SR 40.
“We are excited to announce the opening of our 20th hotel for stayAPT Suites,” reads a statement posted online by the company.
The business provides extended stay accommodations with open-concept living rooms that feature sleeper sofas and a wall-mounted smart television.
Each full-size kitchen features a four-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator.
Bedrooms are located down the hall from the living area, each featuring a king or two queen-sized beds, a walk-in closet, a desk, and a second wall-mounted smart television.
Other on-property amenities include an outdoor courtyard with a built-in grill station, on-site guest laundry facilities, and a fitness center.
According to stayAPT Suites, the rooms are “perfect for business, relocation and leisure travelers.”

The Ocala location marks the first foray into Florida for stayApt Suites.
The company says it plans to continue its expansion in the Sunshine State with additional hotels in Pensacola and Tallahassee opening later this spring.
Founded in January 2020, stayAPT Suites operates around 20 locations across the United States. The company hopes to have 40 properties operational by the end of this year.
