Tamira Sue Smith, age 63, of Ocala, Florida passed away on April 7, 2024 at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, Ocala, Florida. Tami was born on June 12, 1960 in Dunedin, Florida to the late Judith (Hambrick) Petty Eskers and Gary Petty.
Tami was a licensed practical nurse for Oakhurst Center in Ocala for over 25+ years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Steve. Tami was a cat lover and had a passion for shopping for clothes, purses and “any” Bath & Body Works. She loved surrounding her home with tons of family photos and words of encouragement.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Petty Eskers.
Tami is survived by her loving husband of 15 plus years, Steven E. Smith; daughter, Ashley (Denis) Alexander; father, Gary (Brenda) Petty; stepsons, Bryan (Nicole) Smith and Andrew Smith; brother, Tom Petty; granddaughter, McKayla Alexander and Tami’s best friend, Donna Perry.
A visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480 with a Graveside Service to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
