Walter L. Keating, age 93, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at E.W. & Lucille Cates House in Ocala, Florida. Walt was born in Washington Township, New Jersey on December 24, 1930 to the late Stuart and Margaret (Beppler) Keating.
He and Juliet first met when she was 12 years old and were married for 73 years. He loved his wife with all of his heart. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army.
He was a building contractor prior to moving to Clearwater, Florida from his hometown in 1972. While in Clearwater he purchased a painting company and then later moved to Ocala in 2001.
He was a “Man of Faith” and enjoyed preaching often. Walt loved the outdoors and tending to his vegetable garden.
Walt is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Juliet S. Keating; four children, Thomas Keating (Vivian), Kathleen Taylor (Greg), Daniel Keating (Sharon) and Linda Brown (Charlie). Walt also leaves behind four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
