Herman Dwayne Sherman was born to the late Horace and Velma Sherman in Ocala, Florida, on October 18, 1962. He was the last of eight children. He was baptized at an early age at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He received his formal education in the public schools in Marion County, North Marion High School. Herman was employed in the Equine Industry and did farm maintenance for most of his life. Herman was loved and gave love, made friends with anyone. No one was a stranger.
He departed this life on April 4, 2024, to join his parents, Horace and Velma Sherman, brother Horace, Jr.; sisters, Joan Book and Cathy Jamerson; and brother-in-law, Bernard Franklin, Sr.
Herman leaves to cherish his memories: two devoted and loving sisters, Alice Brown (Eugene) Ocala, Florida, and Joyce Franklin of Ocala, Florida; two caring brothers, Larry Sherman (Pamela) and Keith Sherman (Kathy); one adopted sister, Kajauana Tyndell of Leesburg, Florida; one sister-in-law, Gloria Sherman of Williston, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Woodrow Jamerson of Ocala, Florida, and James Booker of Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
