To the Editor:
Reading comments from a reader regarding the congestion, they are spot on. I travel from Ocala to Gainesville many times throughout the month. The off-ramp at State Road 326, heading northbound on l-75, needs two lanes coming off I-75. I do not know why planning does not expand our roadways first, then allow for more expansion of housing, warehouses, and so on.
I have been in Marion County for over 30 years. It is going backwards, not forwards. If I wanted to live in a place like Orlando, I would have moved to Orlando. Marion County is losing it’s rural community feel. Crime is up, acciddents are up, cost of living is up, that is not what I call improvement.
