The Reading with Rangers & Friends program will make its next stop at the Heritage Nature Conservatory this week.

The event will take place on Friday, July 5, at 10 a.m. at the park, which is located at 2005 NE third St.

During the gathering, an Ocala Park Ranger will read stories to children in attendance. The program takes place every Friday and will continue throughout this and next month.

The upcoming schedule of events is as follows:

July 12 at Tuscawilla Park, located at 800 NE Sanchez Ave.

July 19 at Fort King National Historic Landmark, located at 3925 E Fort King St.

July 26 at Citizens’ Circle, located at 151 SE Osceola Ave.

All readings are free to attend and open to the public. Registration is not required, and all visitors are encouraged to pack a snack, blanket, or chair.
