An intersection in northwest Ocala will be closed beginning Monday as crews work to replace the existing water main.
According to a statement issued by the city, construction will begin at the intersection of NW 7th Street and NW 8th Avenue on Monday, July 22.
All traffic heading westbound on NW 7th Street will be directed south onto NW 9th Avenue, east on NW 5th Street, north on NW 6th Terrace, and back onto NW 7th Street.
All traffic heading eastbound on NW 7th Street will be directed south on NW 6th Terrace, west on NW 5th Street, north on NW 9th Avenue, and back onto NW 7th Street.
All construction will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, according to the city.
During construction, travelers may experience delays, noise, and dust in the area.
