City officials have announced the date of the 40th annual Light Up event, which will bring over 100 vendors, food trucks, and a spectacle of lights to downtown Ocala.
Light Up Ocala will return to downtown on Saturday, November 23, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Founded in 1984, Light Up will celebrate its 40th installment this year.
The event will feature live entertainment, over 100 arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and an interactive kids’ zone.
The gathering will also feature a community showcase talent show at Citizens’ Circle, and a Junior Sunshine holiday parade with a special appearance by Santa Claus.
The entire evening will culminate with the 40th lighting of the tree and lights throughout downtown Ocala.
