Irish Delores Linzy, 68, gained her wings Thursday August 1, 2024. Born to Mary Nelson Linzy and George Linzy on August 13, 1955 in Chicago, IL.
Irish was raised in the church and remained a member of House of God Church Keith Dominion throughout her life as a Trial Deaconess.
Her formal education was attained in Marion County Public Schools and she earned her Bachelor’s of Health Science Education at the University of Florida.
Irish was an Educator in Hillsborough and Marion County Public Schools in Florida, Dinwiddie County Public Schools in Virginia and Comanche County Public Schools in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her Father, George Linzy, Mother, Mary Nelson Linzy, Sister, Diane Linzy and Grandson, D’Andra Flythe.
Cherishing her memories of Irish- children- Andrea Bostick of Ocala, FL, LaTroy Brown (Ernie) of Richmond Hill, GA, Jovan Bostick (Chandra) of Ocala, FL, Lynnsey Hudson (Sidney) of Orlando, FL; Sisters- Jacqueline Favors (Lawrence) of Ocala, FL, Olivia Linzy of Orlando , FL, and Georgia Edwards of Ocala, FL; Grandchildren- Kalashawn, Jasmine, KiAndra, Shaughnessy, L’Marqez, Abriana, Jovanie, PaShuntz, Mahoganey, Zhanya, D’Janai, Ernest Jr., Nevaeh, Jada, Jakyra, Emari and Carter, sixteen (16) great grands, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing loved ones and friends.
