Mary Murphy Alderman, 54, passed away in Ocala, Florida on September 23, 2024. She was born in Leesburg, Florida on May 2, 1970 to Cecil and Marina Murphy.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church of Bushnell, Florida. She enjoyed karaoke, singing, cooking Greek food, cooking, karaoke, going to concerts, especially Brad Paisley and Van Halen. She was an animal lover, and was a generous, big-hearted person. She loved her cats, “Vinnie” and “Baby”. She valued spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 24 years: Michael Alderman, of Webster, FL; loving companion: Bobby Petty of Webster, Florida; Mother: Marina Murphy of Webster, FL; Brother: Larry Murphy of Webster, FL. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and her loving fur babies, “Vinnie” and “Baby”.
She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Franklin Murphy.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Purcell Chapel in Bushnell, Florida. A service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church of Bushnell, Florida with Father Baptiste officiating. An interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Webster, Florida.
