A carnival featuring a haunted maze, costume contests, food trucks, games, face painting, candy, and activities will return to an Ocala venue this weekend.

The Marion County Parks and Recreation Department’s 6th annual carnival will take place on Saturday, October 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion located (2232 NE Jacksonville Road, Ocala).

The family-friendly carnival will feature costume contests, inflatables, food trucks, face painting, games, music, candy, and a haunted maze.

Admission to the carnival is free, and all attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for donation to Bring the Harvest Home. The annual donation drive in Marion County allows local residents and businesses to help those in need during the holiday season.

According to the county, anyone who brings a donation for Bring the Harvest Home will receive a youth activity armband. The armbands are $5 cash only.
