He enjoyed bowling, fishing, board games, and treating his grandson to ice cream_. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, compassionate, caring man with a unique sense of humor and a zest for life! He loved his grandson more than words could say!

Robert is survived by his stepdaughter, Sonya Knight, (Lee Bass Jr.) and their son, Elliott Bass, whom Robert affectionately nicknamed “Wingman.”

The family would like to say a special thank you to Jamie Colver, as well as everyone else who donated funds to helping cover some of the medical expenses for the treatments he received while trying to beat his cancer. I would personally like to thank those who were available to visit with him, call or send him text messages. I saw how much each interaction brought immense joy to him.

To his Lee’s Family, you were never far from his heart or mind! He loved each of you as his own!
